maybe this is something that have been already discussed.

however i want to ask you what is the problem here?

i have 45 imps,5 clicks and 0,07 cents earnings. the CTR is high enough, but the eCPM is low.

how to increase the ecpm? tell me atleast 2 experienced tips.

    thanks!

Is it a site focused on a specific topic, or something where you can write about anything?

If you can write about anything, it's easy enough to search for keywords/terms that have high rates. Find the ones that cost advertisers a lot, and then write a keyword rich article (or several) focused entirely on that subject. If the content isn't a good match for your audience then your CTR may decrease, but the CPM should be good.

It could also be google devaluing your links. If your site is producing a lot of clicks that do not result in a sale, newsletter sign up, or something else that is tangible, then they will charge the advertiser less for your clicks, which means you get paid less.

yeah video sites do pay low although I have noticed this on some of my automotive and even on hospitality related sites.. sometimes I think Google gives you high paying click days and crappy paying click days. I've noticed 5 clicks for 10 cents then the next day I'm getting 2 clicks for $3.50 on the same site. Keeps me confused lol

As far as I know, Adsense does not like sites that has no written content such as video and game sites. And this cause lower eCMP. You should put into your pages some written content such as comments or video description.

Yes, video sites are little payers. How many ad blocks do you have on each page? By minimalising the amount of ads you have shown, will tend to increase the payout per click.

I don't know what I am doing right but one of the sites that I own has made for me in the pass 7 days $7.91 this is only 1 of my many websites...
I just keep it simple and clean. I am not even a really good programmer.

Sometimes we try too hard and keep missing the whole picture,(the simple way) maybe you'll be the next millionaire if you keep trying. Never give up.
Maybe you should try something different, and don't put pictures with the ads because of the new re-enforce regulatiolations from google.

    life is short..................

well , there is a content in the site. and i haven't put pictures next to the ads :)

I think I've made good blend. So I have to try with different ad blocks as you say.

The site that i've made is my first site, so I can tell it's a test in that field.

    I'm learning yet.
