There is 100% something wrong with CB's tracking. I watched an affiliate doa test of a new product for which i am a vendor yesterday. I double checked the HOP etc. The sale did not register to them and was instead put into my vendor account 100%.

Take from this what you will.

Means 15,000 hops per day.. Wow were do you get that traffic?
1.5 million people/day (if you consider 1 out of 100 click the hop link) to your sites or wathever it is.

    Any secrets to tell?

Part of that members marketing is using Twitter. Read the whole thread next time. Marketing threw twitter will not get you a whole lot of sales each week. I think they are cracking down on spamming in twitter so another source of traffic should be on thread creators list to do. Lot's of good posts already on page 1 of this thread. You should read em.

It's not a tracking problem. Simply go to http://www.cb-analytics.com/ and look at the referred rate (%refd) .
Most products have about 90% of the sales referred by affiliates, a proof that the sales are tracked.

You need TARGETED traffic. Spamming twitter and getting useless junk traffic isn't going to get you sales.

Look at it this way, you're following a user on twitter, and all he does is sent you affiliate links, and spam every 30 minutes, you wouldn't probably buy anything. And the products you'd promote are probably random, and unrelated to the person viewing the product.

You need to have a target market, need a converting product, and you need to send targeted traffic.
Don't try to sell everything to anyone.

Yes, CB has it's occassional screwups, but every other network has them as well.

How many order form impressions/submits are you getting - if its 0 I suspect the traffic source, if its say 100 then theres something afoot

There are people defending Clickbank as if they are working for them, no ofence really. However, you should see my account in the last month and then talk about cb riping-off, tracking problems, etc...btw I have highly targeted hops. Switch accounts, sales start again, then stopeed, etc. as usual...get another network...

Nobody here is spamming twitter. I have chosen users that follow us and our tweets. We do not have a public broadcast to twitter as you would think. Just because we said we were using twitter in no way are we spamming anything so please ask before you blame next time please.

I mean not every sale is getting tracked and they do reject many credit cards, last year i was offering bonus on purchasing from my link and many users emailed me saying clickbank is giving error on purchase with credit card, paypal works fine with them.

It does not changed this year as well, same problem continues.

Not trying to argue with you, and CB MAY very well shave, however....

It would be EXTREMELY difficult for them to shave (any significant amount at least). Any savvy vendor can easily track the number of sales made, plus the number of unique downloads of the product. Any significant variance, or any variance at all for that matter, and there is a problem!

I will say I have noticed a slow down in the past week or so, with the same amount of targeted hops (or more). Yes, of course, there could always be foul play (either processing or tracking issues). On the other hand, you have to consider seasonal changes (last weeks of summer break for schools) and the fact that it's the end of the month (for whatever reason, my sales are always strongest at the beginning of the month).

That said, I sell similar products on CB and other networks. CB seems to have MUCH more fluctuations....

Hmm you're confused probably because you aren't even checking where you're traffic is coming from.. LOL you sound quite funny..

Why would people come to your site? Well what are the methods you use to bring those 50K to your website? You should know this best, and only after analyze what type of traffic you're expecting to turn into customers.

Use a URL shortner which can be tracked on twitter, try to see the traffic sources and referrals there, you will see very few clicks from twitter and a lot from some IM(instant messenger) sources, mobile applications, emails.

I find it weird some one trying to read tweets on IM's and mobiles and emails which outnumber twitter clicks. Even I have seen many hops for no sales and I somehow suspect these clicks. Any ideas ?

    I agree with Ripped.

Just because twitter is getting crowded day by day and even people who follow you can consider your tweets as spam as they get it from a lot of people as more people are using twitter for marketing. It is like these auto responder mails these gurus send these days compared to older days when only a few gurus had access to.

I have been using CB, Plimus and E-Junkie to track sales and CB is by far the best even with all the down times.
