    It can not be true!

My last sale was tuesday last week. Since wednesday I have had 59,301 hops without one sale. Something is very wrong.

I know hops and traffic do not mean sales however come on people. Something is wrong with this. I only had 20 invoices opened and 3 or 4 were me testing to see if it is working. This is sick. There has to be a better way

Even with un targeted traffic you should be making a fair few sales.

You would think so? And they say nothing is wrong with CB. Something is really wrong with this.

you need to find source where that much traffic came ? even it's untargetted traffic you could have got more than 2 sales.Find it where it came,If traffic is still coming then keep code in ur landing page.I think it's might be mistake.

let us know the promotion methods.I have heard cases of people not getting their sales tracked because of some promotion methods. This might be true in your case.

What does that mean? You think I'm not getting paid because of my promotions? Can they do that? Most of my traffic is coming through twitter and always has. I have always made ok like this and never had to worry about getting paid. Help me with this one...

I don't know much about what kind of traffic you have to your website/websites and I don't really care but that traffic must be highly non-targeted.

Show us where you're sending your traffic and we might be able to help somehow. If you're spamming emails/forums/sites then it's most likely that your traffic won't convert at all. I have been sending that type of traffic from twitter once and I had none conversions so it can happen..

It's not CB's fault. You can be sending millions of hops and not get sales.

If your traffic is untargeted, it won't work, you WON'T get sales.. PERIOD!
Spamming twitter is probably not working out for you, maybe you should try another way to promote.

    Now that's funny!

Thats a lot of hops for sure. But it can't be CB. I don't think anything is wrong with CB. I hear a lot but don't buy it.

    Fully agree.

You can have millions of hops, but your traffic has to be interested in buying something what you are offering.

I dunno though. Unless it is purely junk traffic like untargeted popunders how can you send nearly 60 thousand visitors to a site and not make any sales?

Your sales copy would have to be really really bad. But I'd suspect something else is wrong somewhere in your tracking chain.

    That's Bull.

I've been sending un-targeted traffic to clickbank for years. That so-called un-targeted traffic use to convert fine (with far less un-targetted traffic, too), but now there's nothing for sales (or very little - none since I've been running open tests here - I've been watching the people who have been watching my posts  ), and I have 5 - 6 times the un-targeted traffic.

I think most of you don't know CB's History. I've been with this outfit since '98 or '99, I can't remember. ...been through it all.

Ripped, you're doing fine, but your one of the few affiliate/vendors who is. Many affiliates that are in here complaining are making good money through other networks (or at least it seems to be so).

I'm not aware of un-targeted traffic converting fine, in the contrary I've seen untargeted traffic not convert at all. I'm sure a lot has changed since 98, and things are not the same now. I'm sure there was a lot less competition back then. But I was 12 years old back in 98 so I've got no idea how it was back then.

I don't see untargeted traffic converting at all. If it manages to convert somehow, I only see it working for products that are of general interest, i.e that everyone could buy

For example, if we're looking at a product for curing acne. Only people that have acne and don't have an effective remedy to cure them would possibly buy the product, however, very few of those untargeted visitors have acne, and even fewer of those that have acne, would be willing to purchase. So the probability of a purchase is very very low.

IMO, a better product to market to your visitors, is something that anyone could buy, i.e a product of wide-appeal. For Example, sattelite TV for PC is something that anyone might people. Most of the buyers of such a product, aren't people who were specifically looking for sattelite Tv for their PC, but normal people like me and you who thought it would be cool to have such a thing.
Same goes for Water4gas products, everyone could buy it, because it is a product of wide-appeal.

However, even with a product of wide-appeal, if you manage to get some conversions, you would have a really poor conversion rate.

Why send crappy junk traffic, when you could just send about 100 visitors and make 100$ from them. As an affiliate, I've promoted products that get me 33$ per sale, and I've managed to get 3-4 sales out of a 100 visitors, while you send hundreds of thousands of visitors, and earn nothing.

As a vendor, I have affiliates converting as high as 5-7%, while there are other affiliates, that have literally sent tens of thousands of visitors and have gotten 0 sales. Talk about quality of traffic.

So quality of traffic is thekey, not quantity. You need to change your strategy.

    Ok now i'm confused.

The thing is to convert? You guys are saying that i may not be converting my traffic to make a sale. So tell me. Why would I have all of these hops with no sales? Why would someone go to a site that they have no interest in? I know these hops are all not bots or bs hops. I have to be converting this into something. Wouldn't you think? This is not my first go around with this.

I was working with RSS feeds from topcbstores however they will be cutting feeds off tomorrow so the only difference is I'm supplying my own feeds from the cb xml sheet.

Maybe CB doesn't like my feeds and not paying me because they have no idea where they are coming from? Someone did say I could have a bad source? maybe using something CB does not like?
