I have a blog I setup ages ago that gets a fair few hits. I put some links to some Clickbank eBooks on it and so far in the last 10 days they have been clicked on 58 times according to Google Analyitcs (GA) Top Content report. I don't know how many people this is (can GA tell you this?) but none of them have bought an eBook. The links are just text links in the side bar with the title of the eBook for the link text. People are clicking on them but not buying the ebooks. Does anyone here sell for Clickbank? Is zero out of 58 to be expected? Do people actually buy eBooks - those landing pages look pretty awful? If people are clicking on the links should I change them to something that converts a bit better or are these types of links a lost cause? Any feedback much appreciated. Thanks.
50 impressions is not enough to tell anything. Wait until 500 impressions before drawing conclusions.
give it more time. it wasnt til i hit 200 hops(clicks) that i finally got a sale and now im at 280 with 5 sales
58 clicks is not even nearly enough to test if a product converts. I have had days with 500 hops and 0 sales and on the other days I have had 3 sales in 100 hops. I believe it's pretty much random. But I guess around 500 hops should be normally enough to test the conversion of a product.
Are you kidding me? 58 clicks? You have to be more patient! I have had days with 250 clicks and no sales!
I just started promoting three products on a review site and the top product got over 300 hops with no sales. So I moved another offer up to see how it does. It's hard to be patient but that seems to be the general consensus.
I'll echo that patience is the key. 58 clicks can seem maddening with no sales if it's new. Just keep promoting your site, drive traffic to it, and if after a few hundred clicks no sales - switch your offer. as for the landing pages: yes, some are terrible. If it's bad, I mean reallllly bad, why are you promoting that one?
Here's a little advice. Promote the products you yourself have bought. Write and publish your own unbiased opinion, as a customer and as user, about that product. I am sure people reading your blog will appreciate that you have published an unbiased review of it clearly telling its pros and cons and if they like it they will surely buy. It is not very good to refer people to buying something that you actually don't even know about. Hope it helps.
Try other different techniques generating hops. If one doesn't work, try something else. Hope that helps.
The very best clickbank products convert at 1% That means one sale for 100 clicks. Seems like you wait forever, but then comes pay day. Just be patient.
50 hops do not mean anything. When you get a few hundred hops, that will give you a good gauge of how well the product converts. Be patient and send more traffic to your pages.
58 clicks..At least someone is clicking.. look at the bright side.. i much more than that and yet i havent got a single sales.. getting tired selling ebooks.. LOL... but not giving up yet..
Actually on some websites I'm making more than 200-300 clicks with no sales and no registrations This is normal
Ok, clarification, I'm just giving what I have read over and over as the industry standard. I get 10% on some too, but that's a pretty high expectation and we don't even know what product he is promoting. Whats your product that converts at 10%??
