564 backlinks many are pr but no pr..

I have 564 backlinks (check link page for alot of them) And most of them are pr4+ But I still have no pr. Aparently the update has come and I can't see why. Can someone help me improve my pr? For a proxy, So I can sell more adspace

I get 500+ uniques a day.

 

The PR update process is not finished, you have to wait...

 

I hope this is true cause i'm dealing with something similiar. Not quite so high of numbers tho

I have 1200+ and up since 7/06 and still no pr

oh well, I have the traffic, maybe Pr really doesn't mean anything :O

It can take time for the PR update to fully play out. It can take weeks for the PR to settle.

It has 134 links,exactly! And 134 isn't enough at all..You need 1k+ in order to get a PR4 or so.

 

i got the sam problem with pr update. just wait first and see we are going to get any pr soon.

 

What are you talking about? At my last job I created a site that has only 1 link and is PR4. In fact the original link isn't up anymore and the site is still PR 4.

Edit - in fact, using some of the PR checkers on the web it comes back as PR5.

Edit #2 - I guess that Yahoo site explorer shows a few more links but after I made the site live it was PR4 at the next update with only that 1 TV station link pointing to it.

That's an exceptional case as I see!

 

It took me a year to bring my PR3 site to PR4, got a lot of links not only one.

I keep building links to all my sites to get them more and more links and PR, probably you have more links that are not showed or something like that.
It is quite depresing to work hard to achieve to get something that is that easy to others :-(

Not all links necessarily pass on PR, this is where the quality of the link matters.

For one of my sites, in last PR update I had 301 backlinks and hot PR0, after that I was building links every day, and in this update it shows 185 backlinks , but PR5.

Maybe your backlinks were not registered in this time round.. I tried using my Yahoo Backlink Analyzer and it returns around 100+ results also..

 

The amount of links you have varies between all three search engines and unfortunately none are real time reporting. They cannot afford to be completely forthcoming otherwise people would game their algorithms and spam their indexes. So dont spend time worrying so much about these.

Now this is what it's all about ...Traffic

Without any traffic you cannot earn revenues and then those links really don't mean a thing to you...

I think something isn't right with the way you are building the links. It is really not hard to get to PR4.

It only took me about 3 or 4 months to get all my sites from pr0 to pr4

 

Google is pretty slow at registering backlinks. MSN and Yahoo show
thousands for one of my sites, but Google is still < 100 and PR1. I've
got my fingers crossed for the next update, but the results from
other people do sometimes seem a bit random (ie, 1 link and PR4!)

 

That is definitely not true. I have many sites that are PR4 and have have less than 100 links in Yahoo!
