537 pageviews and only $0.41

Hey,

Today my site Naruto Pictures got 537 pageviews and only $0.41, it's like that every day.

We're ranked 9th for Naruto Pictures on Google.

Me and my partner were really hoping to get around $4-5 per day with this site, he made a similar site a few months ago and that's what he got, but it's just not happening.

We really need some tips, help and advice. I'd appreciate it big time.

I think a major issue is the fact that all of the ads are completely separated from content. Try stuffing a 160X600 block in the middle of the list of categories, and I think you'd see improved results.

Most of the ads are pointing to things pointing to other stuff. There's not many sites advertised that actually sell a product.

If your ads lead to sites that make money from advertising, you'll get low numbers because you're advertising for middlemen.
If your ads lead to somthing that actually has a product you'll make more because you're the first middleman.

537 pageviews is close to NOTHING. What do you expect to make from 537 pageviews? Get GOOD TRAFFIC, THEN USE ADSENSE. Dont put ads on a site with no traffic.

first off, pageviews don't mean squat... do you know what epc is, and how to calculate it? how about ecpm?

i don't mean to be rude, but your site is mfa garbage, it's nothing but giant ad blocks and outgoing links... and why do you have an embed link for people on the home page? who wants to link back to a site with no content?

you need to scrap everything that you are doing there, erase all your misconceptions, and learn adsense from the ground up.

we should have a contest for who has the lowest ecpm... my worst channel is averaging almost $1.50 per thou this month, and it really makes my butt itch.

how can anybody help you, when you don't know the most basic things?
