$5211 PR7 Domain Name sold - Worth it?

    I've been looking into buying domina names on GoDaddy auctions to build my own PR network for SEO. I noticed this domain lambda10.org sold for $5211.90 it's a PR7 and links look good.

    Is this really worth it though? how much juice will they get out of this?

    That domain is a targeted one and if somebody paid 5k USD for it then they have something in their mind. The most expensive domain that I bought was 550 USD and worth it. For sure for that domain they can monetize at 200-300 USD/month that will recover the investment in 20 months (not bad). But if they really have a good product that can earn even more.

    who is the seller of this domain? it was an expired auction, so godaddy is the seller?
