52 clicks and under 5 dollars

Hello. Today, I got 52 clicks, I've worked a long time to build up that amount of clicks. I received under 5 dollars.

Yesterday 56 clicks, and under 5 dollars.

I won't get too specific, of course.

I would like to ask, your highest recommendations. I have read numerous articles (20+), relevant to my question, though not directly addressing it.

My site is a hip hop site, so it gets a lot of ringtone ads and lyric ads.

I have addressed a lot of the issues by making the ads appear specific to the content.

Though, still most of them tend to be ringtones and lyrics.

If I happen to make an article about Barack Obama (which is relevant) then I will get Barack ads.

Any suggestions, to help me increase my earnings even slightly.

*I would really like to use adsense and not an alternative, because it meets all my needs*

 

just continue adding relevant and quality contents to your site. as time goes on, traffic will increase and your adsense earnings will increase as well.

Well, everytime I make some changes to my site the earnings go down. But after sometime its good again.

 

Ringtone ads usually don't pay much

 

well same with me..37 clicks and 1.83$$..
some days google is not happy with us..

 

Thats not a high paying niche.0.1 cpc really not bad for that stuff

 

How high was your eCPM? Your eCPM determines how much you'll make.

 

Don't complain about that - i had around 190 clicks, with not even 5 dollars.

 

best way to go with your niche is to just build up higher traffic and keep getting more clicks, it will obviously just take you more clicks to reach your target of $5. Hang tight, some days are better than others, we all share your pain.

 

As others have said, your niche is a very low-paying one.

Think about it: how much can advertisers spend on Adwords and still possibly turn a profit? Since most ring tones are around $1 or less, your income will be much lower than that.

Perhaps you should sell text links or sell ads yourself!

 

You stated you didn't want to give up adsense and I agree with you. Leave adsense there. But you still might want to consider adding some other types of ads to your site. Commission Junction and others have ringtone advertisers that pay $10 or more for a sale. One small ringtone or other relevant ad placed on your pages might generate a lot of income.

Regards the 52 clicks for $5 issue, as you get more traffic, so will your earnings, and you will be less concerned about the issue.

 

I feel you, I have a blog in the entertainment niche as well, and boy do they pay low , about 0.05$ per click
