512 MB RAM + quad core 2.5GHZ good for how many blog visitors?

Hello, I was wondering what a VPS server with 512MB RAM and an Athalon quad core would be good for. Will it be sufficient enough for a blog with 4 small images per post and 1000 pageviews/day (which turns out to be 450visitors/day)?

Yeah that's really not much traffic at all.. the VPS should handle it fine. You'll want to consider two things though, the first is whether your provider will have enough capacity for when you need more memory and how stable they are. Be sure to check out their reputation and make sure to keep backups.

Oh yes, backups are a must. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way...

Yes in most case your machine will be able to handle that traffic, but be careful, I believe the RAM will (really) soon get bottleneck if you use control panel like cPanel/WHM. to be safe, I would suggest you to upgrade to 1 GB RAM.

I'll be using at least two installations of Wordpress, with some database intensive rating plug-ins.
