$51 Logo Contest/PAYPAL-Ends Monday 23rd 11am CST

How’s everyone doing?

I am looking for a cool new Web 2.0 logo for my aviation job board: flightschooljobs “dot” com.

The logo is in a transparent box 375 x 82 Pixels. I’m also going to keep the background white just like you see it on the website now.

I will also need the logo in PSD format so that I can use it to make banners for my website.

I’m looking for something unique and creative, maybe with some kind of tag-line or image. I really don’t know what I’m looking for that’s why I’m here looking for your help.

I will pay the winner $51 USD with PayPal.

This contest will be over on Monday February 23, 2009 at 11am CST (Chicago Time)

I have a busy weekend so I’ll be off the computer most of the time but I will try to comment on every design; please don’t get mad if I don’t comment on your design.

Here's my 1st entry:

 

Here is my entry. My concept is a plane flying over a city into the clouds. I used light pastel colors along with a very curvy new media typeface in order to make the logo look web 2.0 without all of the gradients, drop shadows, and shine affects. Please let me know what you think.

 

My tries:

 

TightWad- Very nice job! Your logo really caught my eye. I like it.

Gascan – Good job on both logos. I really like the 2nd logo more.

Anhalo- Great logo, I love the image on the right and the tag-line.

Creadiv- Great Unique Design. Looks very nice.

Creations4You- I like both of your logos.

Wow you guys did a great job so far. It’s going to be hard picking a winner on Monday. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to see more.

I just want to make sure that you guys know that I want the logo to be transparent. Just in case I ever change the background color.
