    A good way to estimate is to use google keyword tool to find the CPC for the keywords your site is targeting. Assume google will pay you about .25 per $1 listed. Then assume about a 3% click through rate if your ads are placed properly and your traffic is from search engines. Social traffic has a much lower click through on average. SO, unique visitors X .25 per $1 X .03 = a nice estimate. All you can do from there is test it out. Some people average much higher or lower one these numbers.
