bandwidth never is the real issue resources is the key issue see my yesterday's report about my 45GB/m http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=1493725&highlight=1and1.com#post1493725 it widely depends on what you are going to do with a few dozen GB traffic if you are at several thousand visitors per day ANY feature such as dynamic forum, chat room, photo gallery, games, music, videos, etc can such resources BEYOND the limits of shared hostingd and may put you on a dedicated server even if the theoretical bandwidth allowance is 100 times greater of what you actually have. if you plan trafic in that range - you also have to assure income in a proper range to easily afford dedicated server at the right time of site/traffic growth
