Strange Cache Dates

I just found a new search phrase that one of my sites has shown up in the serps in google on. It shows a cache date of Dec 31 1969. I also looked at another website that I know is new for the same search phrase and it has a cache date that is correct. Is a matter of fact all the caches on the first page for the results show a correct cache date.

Why are we now seeing these strange cache dates of 1969? Is this a new forum of a filter or what?

It's been discussed on other forums. It basically either a bad motherboard that the batterie is dead and the date goes back to bios defaults. Some said it could be a unix/linux issue giving the os default date. Whatever it is, it's just a bug. None suffered any changes in their serps.

I dont know I think it is more than just a bug, For some reason most of my cache dates are this with the pages I have indexed in google. The only page I believe that has the correct cache date is my homepage, other than that most everything else is this Dec 31st 1969..

Plus if it was a bug, wouldnt the other pages I looked at within that search phrase have the same type of caches?

I think it's just the supplemental results that show the bad cache date, at least in what I've seen.
