I am surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. This morning around 6-7 am (US Eastern Time) I couldn't log in because it was giving a server error warning. I was able to log in sometime after 7 am, but even up until now I can't check the alerts, it gives the same server error warning when I try. ----- OK, it's 11:48 am and I am finally able to post this message. Wow... you guys need more control of this sh*t. For almost 6 hours your site was dead. -----
I was getting the same error when i try to post replies but i guess it has been fixed right now. i wish there was statement at https://twitter.com/digitalpoint cause i thought it was my problem and tried different browsers and switched off my ISP router many times thought js files is not loading
Yep... didn't trigger any of the automated alarms since most things were working (and nothing was down). Should be fixed now though, but ultimately required someone using the site telling us.
I tried. I even sent you a message to your Twitter account. Check your mailbox there. How do you alarm anyone if everything is down? What is the simplest, clearest way to alert someone here when things are not working?
Well if everything (or anything really) is down, we automatically get alarmed. The issue here was that *nothing* was actually down... but some of the database tables were in read-only mode. Never have seen that one before, so the monitoring system doesn't monitor if database tables are read-only for some reason.
Well cos no one could. I tried to create a thread here or post comments anywhere, but there was the error and it prevented me from posting, so all i could was wait. But i'm glad that it was solved.
I am not able to login since 9hours. After transfer to Xenforo, a lot of problem is going on. Feb-Site open slowly June- Cluster Failure August- Updating New version of Xenforo September- Not Able to login for more than 9hours
Less problems under XenForo actually... there's always *something*... just most the time users don't notice. Never heard about or experienced site loading slow in February, and taking the site down for a scheduled upgrade in August for about 30 minutes isn't exactly a "problem".
