So this will be my official, 500th post on DP since getting started here. It has taken a while in comparison to some super members, but I can say that this forum has been an overall positive experience for me and I'm glad to have it as a resource.

Because of my 500th post, ushering me into "serious" levels of DP cred, I'm offering my services to a crowd that's a bit different than those I've written for before.

Let me begin by explaining my qualifications. I began freelance writing on a FT basis when I moved to Mexico in 2011. I was able to sustain myself by picking up clients where I could, for whatever money they were willing to pay. I've written web content about just about everything, and if you'd like to see samples, I probably have something very close to, if not exactly like, what you need.

I've been a professional writer for over ten years and I live in Philadelphia. I have always excelled at writing and I have been published both on and offline, (the Intelligencer, The Pottstown Herald, thelistcafe.com, massivelinks.com, Ticobooking.com and more). Though it should be expected, many writers clarify that their writing will pass copyscape. I can make the same assertion: please know, however, that I as the writer do NOT pay for copyscape. That's your job. My job is to write.

In finishing up with the original point of this post, I am looking for serious, US, UK or English-as-a-primary-language country based companies who are looking for quality writers. Quality, loyal writers are difficult to find anywhere - amid a sea of English as a Second Language (ESL) students working to turn a few minutes into a few rupees over in India, working online, it can be downright frustrating finding a quality writer who is worth the money you're willing to pay.

I am making my appeal: if your company needs a solid writer who can churn out 10-20,000 words per week on topics ranging from real estate sales to pharmacokinetics, I am your man. I want to negotiate with you on a per word fee. As my time and expertise has value just like yours, I would like to have a civil discourse concerning the type of writing services that you need and what would be appropriate as a per word fee, according to the Writer's Market 2014 (it's a book, kind of like the Bible for writers) as well as what I can do for your specific need.

I want it known now that I have insurances, savings and family to take care of - just because I'm a freelancer does not mean that I can work for peanuts. In fact, it means quite the opposite - my time is very valuable to me and I know that my work is of the highest quality. Please respect my profession and respond if you truly believe that you can pay what a writer deserves for your project.

I'm looking for a few contracts; not a bunch. I put time and effort into EVERY project I work on and I don't BS about early deadlines or promising the moon. I will shoot straight with you on everything and I'd want the same from a client. I realize that this entire post is going to be off-putting to a number of potential employers, looking to scoop writers up at 1-2 cents per word, but willing to push the button on 4-5 per word if the right candidate fought for it and earned it. That's ok. I'm not interested in writing 20,000 words in a week without solid, due compensation.

If you have projects that need the touch of a professional writer, if you've had bad experiences with "writers" in the past who take a deposit and then leave you high and dry, if you've just lost a reliable writer and you desperately need to skip the trauma of "trial and error" when hiring the replacement... please... Contact me directly. Let's talk.
