If i had $5k what would be the best investment and best ROI? Quickest and fastest way to make money back
Find a niche; design a simple but useful website (or hire someone to do so); hire people to create good, original content; use ads. If you already have knowledge about SEO and this stuff, buy a website that has current income, fix it, and hope for the income to grow.
Well how is it possible that when i see keywords like "$5000" "fast money" "quick money" "good ROI" I always think of Forex , Betting or Gambling ? Those are basically the fastest and quickest ways but the ROI might not be there , so if you want to make a good income from $5000 then start a site , write unique content and then advertise it all over the net
I would agree with itgirl. Buying an established website that is already earning $400/month should fall within the range of about $5000 investment. Assuming you already have decent marketing skills you can improve the earnings, but even if it stays steady that would be almost 100% ROI for the year, which to me is a good investment.
Are you in school or out of college? If you do not have a degree yet, I would recommend putting it towards a computer science degree (if you want to be a webmaster) or whatever other degree you might be passionate about. Knowledge is the best investment you can make.

Yea with mostly sitepoint and dp as places i bought sites from. Over exaggerated sites buying $600 sites that supposedly made $50 a month brought in like $10? Proxy and arcade sites fail make good money first month then die i think and they have super low click price and porxy banned on most hosting companies
Exactly. That will fast forward the return on your investment. However, there is now "get rich quick scheme".
You have to know what a site's worth. What to look for and evaluate true internet property. Fact of the matter is, 75% of the buyers and sellers on DP, and SP are low ballers who think every site is worth 6-10 month's revenue, and are wrong. A number of sites who are worth 18-24 easy. But you must have the screen shots to prove it. Recurring revenue without a lot of work in websites, again, such as membership. Are worth more than some 2 month old short url, or other sites. Many simply do not know the value of property, period. Or they fall in the next group, who are selling these "it's got potential" sites to noobs, and people who do not know that market or have skills to turn it into money. On some of the sites I sell, membership, dropping $5k on a site, and being able to make a return in 9-12 months on that money is a solid recurring money investment. That said, a lot of the proxy, and other junk noob baiter sites are a waste of time and money. Trying to compete in oversaturated markets with no skills is a recipe for failure. Save yourself some time... Just light your money on fire.
