Hello, I have just developed a website (http://www.hcourts.com) and would like to know what steps I should take to get this website to a steady 5000 + unique visitors / day ? I have been doing Google AdSense and am planning to print out flyers for distribution at NBA games. What else should I do ? Thank You

Great site. Load time is little slower because of too many images. These may help you: -Social bookmarking/networking - Classified ads - Join forums, post regularly. Put url on signature. Good luck to you.
Nice site, doesnt load too slow here on my verizon wireless laptop...still ok speed... Just buy advertising space with adwords, or msn, or some big sports sites.....Im sure it will get the traffic flowing...

DIggs would probably work well for you also since you could pretty much post new content there everyday and would help bring people to your site
I think you should give an explanation of why they should join your site. What's the benefit, other than the contest? I'd also get rid of the sound effect. Otherwise, very nice site. The contest is a nice touch. You could get some stumbleupon, digg, and other traffic for the contest. Once people visit your site and they see the benefit, they may come back! *Make sure they can easily see the benefit though!
Site looks good. Change the green at the bottom. Also a little description of what the site is actually about. Seems like some kind of betting/get rep if u predict games right site but I'm not sure. So just a small description would be nice. Ipod ad is also really tempting!
You really need to ditch that sound effect. Also, what in the world is your site for? Someone above me mentioned that you should tell people why to join. I strongly agree. Aside from nearly blowing my speakers I have no Idea what purpose your site holds.

Thanks for the comments. As for the sound effect, I have contacted the person that had created the website for me to remove it a while ago but they have not answered, I will contact them again. What the website is : Basketball players come there to meet players, find courts that they can play at all over the world, see who is playing at a given court, and more. I will most likely replace the iPod banner on the front page soon so that it gives a description of what the site is about. As for Diggs .. I have absolutely NO clue how to get them, I have created a post and I have dugg it myself but as for how to get others to digg it, I have no clue. The site is getting about 100-200 views/day ... slowly growing.
Do some SEO work on the site to get natural traffic, do social bookmarking (does not last though), since it is basketball related make posts on nba.com and popular basketball forums with the site in your signature.
