    5000(uv)x0.25(high ctr)x1(click price)=$1250. Happens rarely. But it happens. :)

you could gain at least 50$ for that. with the right niche i.e. not gaming site, 100$ should be attainable.

With very good CTR of 10% and an average CPC of around 10c you will get $50

I guess it's possible but 25% CRT with $1 per click is tough. I guess with a 10% CRT and $0.50/click I could make $250 which would be a 150% ROI. Nice.

Now I just need to find a niche and develop a landing page that can do this for me. I'd be willing to profit share for anyone who can help me reach those numbers or higher.

I am guess I should use Yahoo Publisher for this? I can target all 5000 visits to be USA only.

Use Adsense, not yahoo. Try the domain name niche, it has some nice clicks, :)

I would try both YPN and AdSense to see which works better on your site.

If you're targeting first time visitor, it might happen. But if most the visitors are returning visitors I don't think you could earn that much

According to my current stats, I'd make about 100 a day. (Yeah I know. A LOT!)

Idk how much you would make. I expect at least 20 but more on the 35-60 range.

I see you are stressing a lot on the fact that those visitors are very targetted.

Are these targetted to a specific niche? Or you can pick which ever niche you want?

In the case that they are highly targetted visitors, I would recommend you go with an affiliate program and forget about adsense and YPN. An example would be hosting users. Hosting companies are paying close to $100 per referral. YPN and adsense cannot compete with that. It is also very simple to do this, as your landing page can be a simple forward to your affiliate link. Another example would be using some loan affiliate program from cj.com or some poker affiliate pogram.

In the case that these are not hightly targetted visitors, which is probably the case, the answer depends on my previous question. Can you pick which niche you want? If so, search DP for high paying adsense words, establish a website related to those that has both adsense or YPN and some ebook from ClickBank and start getting paid. Example would be loans, debt...

If you cannot pick which niche and you already have a specific niche, check out the overture bidding tool and see how much is the keyword worth. If you feel it is low then you might not want to venture in this. Example a free games website. You would probably need to have YPN and a greatly converting site to make decent money on 5000 uvs for $100 on that type of site.

Finally, i would suggest that you buy the traffic and test it with all the legitamate stuff you saw on this thread. You might end up making $1000 and you might make $50, who knows :) Anyhow you would learn something and you would come tell us about it.

Good advice. I've been looking briefly into affiliate programs but I'm not sure which ones pay out the best. I CAN target to any niche (except porn and casinos) and all my traffic will be VERY targeted. I can target 5000 people who are directly looking for "mortgage refinance" for example, and all 5000 people will be looking for that. The only cost is $100.

The thing I have liked the most about Yahoo/Google is that I can see stats pretty much instantly. With affiliate programs I'd need to know that it was working pretty much instantly in order for me to run some ROI tests.

I CAN do Yahoo/Google and still make good money I think if I pick the correct keywords, but I think affiliates would give me the most bang for my buck if I did it right. I'll also have to check with this executive at this company I have this deal through to make sure they don't have any affiliate traffic rules that I don't know about.

So can anyone hook me up with some affiliates that fit what I need? Any niche will do that pays well.

5000 unique should get you about 50-70 bucks with 1-3 percent CTR. Higher can get you almost 100

Depending on the niche you can probably make as much as $150 with those 5000 visitors, so *yes* you can make profit. About 50%.
