basically that my site gets around 500 views per day but only 1 or no clicks at all, i was gonna ask for advice but i guess it's pretty stupid question. i remembered i cannot share my stats, also my ads are already the best sizes and fairly visible. So i guess i just have to focus on content and wait for people to be kind enough to click the ads sometimes.
Well, fairly visible and all the steps you could possibly do for good ctr% is maybe not the same as actually having all the bases covered. You can expect a few clicks even at that target traffic level you are at, but the ads must be in the top likely spots for this to happen. Go take a look at socrates theme and see what placements they use and you will see a difference I am sure.
Jim Hudson is right, ads placement/position is very important... also, adsense (or in fact any other ads network as well) click through rate is decreasing by days. Thus, it is important to not only focus on Adsense as your online income stream.
Your not getting clicks means the visitors who are coming to your website are Un relevant so try to make relevant traffic and you will get result good and place ads in right place and should be attractive to all visitors. hope this helps
In addition, what are the colours on your site? Do they blend with the ads? If not, visitors will probably won't click on your ads.
There is an important thing you should care while making money from GA, you should have original articles and get more unique traffic, it is better than getting many visitors but not unique, you can check by Google Analytics. 500 pageviews but they are not unique traffic.
Along with the quality articles,100% unique, you need targetted traffic. If the traffic is not targetted you can even expect 2000 visits and no clicks.
concentrate on your content and the place of ads try to keep it near the important part of page content
