i get 1-3 UV a day on my site hostdino.info.. maybe coz it a forum.. well it is PR1...lol but for you very good from where i stand
You need to add more unique content to your site and implement SEO strategies. A monthly visitor of that figure is not that bad for a start.
so do you think a webpage with 500 unique visitors and 800 pageviews (according to google analytics) can make money ? my website is doing around these numbers and going up everyday . and i wasn't even thinking i could make money. i d love to hear some reccomendations guys . thanks
quick question: what should someone be making of they are getting 5000 uniques per day, all organic google traffic. We just picked up a new video sharing site and are looking for the best way to monetize it
If this traffic is without any effort it's good because i am getting only 200 visitors per month on one of my website..
The best way to build traffic to your site is inbound links from high page ranked sites. Directories are a good place to start.
500 per month is very very poor. I just had a look at Google Analytics and noted that one of my sites got 159,000 uniques in the last 30 days. Yes it is 3 years old, but in month 1 I got 2200 uniques, month2 3000 etc - keep going and keep growing and in year or so you will get sucess.
I would concentrate on your growth. Starting out is always going to be difficult, but if you continue to trend upwards you'll eventually get to that 500 uv per day or you'll know that you need to adjust your site.
Ensure that you know if you are counting bots with your UV counts. Most web log analyzers will not filter out bots. Using a web tracker will give you accuare values. It's really difficult to compare UV counts when the basis for each could be different. (bot traffic <> human traffic)
Traffic have been ok, but how much you make from the traffic is your next goal to pursue. for long-term run, great traffic will drive great money step by step.
I think its good to get 500 unique visitors. To get more visitors try to get quality back link for your site.
