500% lower CTR and Impressions

I am at a compelte loss and would like to know if anyone could actually explain wha is happening. Basically the CTR for my campaign and my main selected keywords has been dramatically affected.

The traffic that my site is receiving is around 50-60% of what it was last month, and the page impressions is vastly decreased. Could this just be a trend with the search queries made on this topic for this time of the month?

My term is not seasonal and is to do with hosting so I cannot see nor understand why.

I have even increased the Cost Per Click amount for each keyword around 140%. I cannot remember if I am allowed to discuss the amount I bid for certain keywords but its around the .50Pence (GBP) mark.

Its delivering practically no traffic and not many page impressions.

Half the time my ads are not even displayed. i find it impossible that anyone would bid more, and whats more some times the ads are displayed, although only once every so often.

I select order ranking, so that the ads are only displayed on the top page and I only have the ads displayed on google main search, not any of the sites signed up to adsense.

I also only display the ads on UK. Since I do not want the ads displayed to US since I know no one will be interested there.

Can anyone offer some advice why the traffic from my ads campaign has been killed?

    Thanks

    1. What do the ad diagnostics tools tell you?
    2. Is it an affiliate link?
    3. Have you heard about quality score?

2a Is the landing page a page on your website with good content?
2b Is the landing page a page on your website with links to other websites via affliate links (earning you commission if the visitor buys hosting from them)
2c Is the landing page a page on someone else's website and it track via an affiliate link?

    3. Read here on DP about AdWords Quality Score - the time line tells me you have been affected by recent 'improvements'.

    Well,

All of the content is good, the website is unique and my own, no affiliation with anyone.

Well, if you are not bidding enough to be on top, and your preference is to be on top, that would put google in a bit of a spot, wouldn't it?

If it's a quality score thing - that means that your landing page is probably not passing google's guidelines for landing pages.
