500 Internal Server Error

    Hello,

    Can someone please help? I followed the instructions and updated my .htaccess file with the following

    AddType application/x-httpd-php htm html

    and now I am getting 500 Internal server at the root.

    I then decided to put a blank .htacces file and everything I am doing is giving me a internall 500 server error.

    Anyhelp would be most appreciated?
