Ask yourself why you have the links, are they for humans to click on or for search engines?

I have used 300 links in a big database before with no problems. Google only cached half of the page though......

I have a few sites that have thousands of internal links per page and Google picks up new pages within a day or two. I would say a few hundred would be no problem at all.

What is the limit? Who knows, but how could there be a limit? Many sites have tons of good quality content that dictate such link numbers.

I don't think there will be a problem with internal links. several sites have sitemaps on their sites which contain more than 500 links.

I dont think it would be a huge problem either. But it would be preferable to have less links per page. I would make a concerted effort to put those links on different pages so there arent so many on each page.

Hmm, i would mabye just have links to the "headers" like arts, news business, etc. Then have links from those pages to the other subpages.

try using http://www.dmoz.org/ as a guide for your link structure.

I know about the structure. But I am testing if PR will pass 1 down from homepage for 450 links next update.

For example. Homepage should be PR5 and I am seeing if the other 450 categories will get PR4.

The PR will be divided between the links on the page. With more links, less PR is passed to each.

I can't really change the structure of the website and links but I hope it will be ok. I guess I'll will see how things work out when the website will be online.

I think I read somewhere that Google estimates the content, inbound and outboud links. The content and inbound help your Page Rank, while the outbound links don't.

I forgot where I read it, but pretty sure that it's true.
