Sorry, I seem to have totally missed this layout!

Could you do a revision of the content section above the top rated videos section? I love the header and footer, they're great. That area with user box anc latest news just doesn't look right though.

My idea was to have the blue header continue on to the end of the page. So the main content area would be centered and the blue header would continue on to the edge of the page. If you don't like this idea I could come up with something different such as the "ribbon" folding over and going vertically down the page or having it do the same thing as the left side.

I'll show you some variations of that later today. Also any specific changes you'd like to see would be very helpful.

I like these changes. I prefer the header cutting off like that rather than running over to the edge of the page like before. I like the new search box too, it stands out more. Maybe the channel column could be removed now since those little icons represent the channel anyway and those could be linked. Maybe we could add in a column showing the amount of comments or something maybe in a little bubble or something. Also, maybe you could do something with the headings seperating the different sections in the content area? (new to flix index and popular in our index) - I dunno, the headings/titles aren't very noticable to me.

To be honest, I think we should stick with the orange one and just improve upon that. Those rows in the new movies table (with hover colour effect) in the new revision could be used in the orange one, these have a nicer space inside the rows too which I wanted in the orange version so could we carry that over?

 

Sorry that's really blinding too me, too much red, I need something light and colourful (not all one colour).

For the section headings I made one all-caps and the other the same as before to see which one you like better.

That's right, the header and footer are pretty solid.

I definitely prefer the headings in all-caps and the blue bar seperates the page well. I really can't think of any other improvements for you now to be honest, you've done an awesome job. Maybe you could just have a go at designing a nice format for the latest news under popular in our index, you could use thumbnails, maybe 3 or 4 each row with a little snippet. Have a button to view the full article, maybe show who it was submitted by with number of comments.

You're in-line for the #1 prize so far, you're an amazing designer.

What I think I'll do is take a stab at the other page that you told me to hold on to (the channel pages) and do that thumbnail thing. I'll post what I've done later today.
