I'd recommend throwing a price out there so that one or two of us can test this service out and give some feedback.
Thank you all for giving me your suggestions and the way you look. I will soon tell you all what i have done and all about directories
The directories need to be different in several ways. Different IPs is a given, and also different anchor text. If it's all the same anchor text then you risk getting a duplicate content penalty and having the search engines ignore the links. That wouldn't be worth much to anyone.
That is not true. Your site will not be banned because you have 500 links from the same ip address, if that were true there would be alot of big company sites wiped out of the search engines. And having the same anchor text on 500 pages is not bad either. Sure would like to know where you guys get this information. But I agree that depending on the amount of links leaving a page is very important, you should never have no more than 20. Pr would determine how much the links are worth in this case because I am sure you not offering these links as way to get good traffic. I would pay $250 for 500 links if they were good links, but out of those 500 only about 120 of them will be any good as far as google is concerned.
Even if they are from different C classes, you must make sure that those directories won't be banned and PR0, if you just duplicate them. Even so, I wouldn't pay $250 upfront, without any guarantee that it would benefit my sites. You may start with different packages: 100 links - x 200 links - y 500 links - z
Interesting thread. To the Thread started - Simple English - 500 directories with different IPs and different C-class - speak of charging. If you plan to create a link farm - because that is what it sounds like - somebody needs to spank you really hard If the directories are new - I wouldn't pay a dime either - SEs are very slow in crawling link directories (because there is no worthwhile content - IMO) - once your directories are crawled, obtained at least pr3 - come back and ask how much should you charge - till then give free BLs. I am waiting till then - tic toc tic toc....
Very interesting service-idea, Stormy! It will be a successful biz! I would pay 0.30-.050 [max.!] USD/500 guaranteed submission, depending by PR, number of backlinks [to the directories]. Waiting to hear more about your project!
Probably the most pertinent point. If it is 500 directories that are exactly the same, and update from the same database live, so that it takes no time to manage, then I think its a complete waste of money to list. If this isn't the case then perhaps it will be an interesting experiment.
PM me to, interested..also wouldn't want to have 500 links go live on the same day..would want it to be staggered over several weeks/months probably. Also across c-class IPs, and would also want to have different title. description per directory. And of course SEF links.
Lets just hope that the methodolgy involved here is not based off one main directory DB spanning 500 different domain urls. You will get flagged for duplicate content, whether you are on different C's or not.
If the PR for the directory is more I pay more. PN DP I just paid one of the users $15.00 per site submission to 300 directories. For one I paid for the same domains but only got 125 emails. (including approvals) He said he is done. (That was $12.00) if there is a service which will submit to PR7 Directories, I will pay a lot more. Thanks
things like this always seem to outprice the people who cant afford it i think the price should be varied on what people are linking to yes if the site is linking to an ecommerce site then $30-$50 is fine but if its say a hobby site like an arcade site or something similar with adsense then maybe $10 should be max. shops are all different so easier to find for the money, but the other sites such as arcade will be place amongst many others making them harder to find, so a cheaper price for these is a lot better hope this makes sense
