All submissions must be through this thread so I can keep track and provide feedback for all. Contest will run for 48 hours or until a clear winner is chosen. I will be using the logo on the top of the current site (thanks joidiamonds!), but everything else is going to be changed. You can see what is currently there at www.wahmsolutions.com. Text will be about the same, though I will write more if I have more boxes to fill! I will be adding a Members Only button, in addition to the categories already there. There must be a newsletter signup box near the top right hand of the header. Header needs to be able to stand alone so it can be used on the blog. Navigation should be top and left side. Two columns with the site design in a box on the main part of the page. Background behind the box should be hex color #6495ED. I am looking for a serious design, one that helps women feel confident in their ability to grow their businesses, but not one that feels stuffy or heavy. Use the current green from the logo in your design. I'd also like some other strong colors such as a similarly toned blue, purple, red. I am open to color ideas, but must use blue background as mentioned above. Action buttons such as submit for the the newsletter form must be orange with dark blue lettering. *** I am kind of old school, I hate shiny stuff, don't want an animation feel to the site. While this is a site for women, it is meant to be feminine without being cute or girly.*** Thanks!
Excellent question. Sorry, I uploaded it to one page, not the other. You can find it on www.wahmsolutions.com now. Thanks!
Well ive seen its been 48 hours. and this has drifted off to page 3 or 4. Thought i would help out. Im not a page designer. but here is something to get other creative juices flowing. http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa129/joidiamonds/WAHMPAGEcopy.png
Someone just asked me what I mean by columns. For the home page of the site, I like the idea of having two content columns, in addition to the left navigation column. I like to be able to get more than one headline above the scroll line for content sites. This is one example of a site that has a lot of news information on it, but I would like mine to be less busy. Not so distracting. http://connectmoms.com/
