50$ via paypal for Logo and Banner (contest)

What I really want is to get rid of the cartoon and instead have a logo which brands me... I want to give you full artistic liberty but I just want to explain that this is a Jewish site and therefore it should be using Jewish themes (ex: star of David - http://www.flyingchariotministries.com/260px-Star_of_David_svg.png or menorah http://www.kshs.org/research/collections/graphics/menorah.jpg )
However, my main goal is to find a logo which is brandable and that means it MUST be original and not like anything seen regularly (in order for people to associate my site to the logo - so dont just give me a regular star of david).

It is a personal website, so using initials should make sense... however, please do note that the logo will alsobe used for a hebrew version of the site... therefore, if you use initials in the design (which i think is a good idea), you must use both english and hebrew initials. To facitiliate this, here are my initials in English: DI and here they are in Hebrew: דא .

You can also choose to have the title of the site in the logo (which is kind of cool cause then ppl know what the logo is about).. If so, I need it in both english and hebrew. In english, the title is Dan Illouz.com. In Hebrew, it is דן אילוז . ONE THING TO NOTE: some versions of photoshop makes hebrew text appear in the wrong order when copying and pasting... therefore... here is the same thing written in the opposite order in case you get that problem (but compare to the original to see that it is well written) םוק טוד זוליא ןד . (I personally like the idea of having the full title in the logo because it gives a first look at my URL as soon as the person sees the logo and is great for advertisement... but I want it to fit the logo, if not, choose something else...)


Again, my choice will be based on "brandability" (original, distinctive, easy to remember), connection to site content (Jewish content, but personal website tied to my personality... I mean, for God's sake, I'm using a cartoon of myself right now lol )...

All other text needs to be both english and hebrew. Therefore, if you want to have text there, feel free to ask me here how to write something in hebrew (please note I will monitor and answer this thread but I am not online from friday afternoon to saturday night)

So, this is for the logo part. And I want the logo alone in a psd file and all other types of file you will have.

I also want the rest of the banner redesigned in a way that will fit the logo and the site... that means choosing your fonts, and you can play around to see what design concepts will maximize the look of the site... please include a screen shot of how it would fit in the site...

The text needs to be the same, as in DanIllouz.com and the slogan: A fresh view on Zionism, Judaism and Leadership.

Where it gets tricky is that I need the banner in Hebrew as well... Now, I have enough hebrew fonts to do it myself if you give me a psd file that will be easy to edit text in... However, if this brings the quality of the design down, you will have to do both versions... therefore, here is what is written in hebrew:
דן אילוז דוט קום
(that was the title)
מבט רענן על ציונות, יהדות ומנהיגות.
(that is the slogan)

just one more small note that can help everyone

hebrew is from right to left

so if you design the logo in a way that puts some english one one side and some hebrew on the other, (you don`t have to do it, im just saying IF), then the english should be on the left and the hebrew on the right...
