No no, the duration is an hour. You sign your blog up and after blogflare tracks hits for an hour, it will give you a rating. Rates are updated hourly based on greatest number of uniques.
Oh, the time for the contest is from December 15th through the 31st at midnight. You can register any time between those two dates to compete. The sooner the better though.

Guys, Woohoo! I just added a new voting feature onto BlogFlare to help promote all your blogs. Once we've collected a few votes here and there, I'm going to put the "Hot Blogs" section up which, obviously, will be the blogs with the most hits. Whether it will be the Top 10, Top 25, Top 50, etc. I'm not sure .. I'll figure that out based on how many votes I get. I do know that votes will be reset every month, as I like to keep the system open for opportunity. Plus, it keeps everything fresh!
How will you choose winner? Your site showing ranking according to statics from 1st of the month while you are saying that comptition is started on 15. And how will we see our current status for the contest?
