I like the background of your design. However, since I'm a project manager in a web/graphic design company, and I've been known to work non-stop 24/7/365 to get everything done, this suitcase tells that I'm going on vacation; but I'm not. I understand where you where going with "Happy Holidays", but the shinning effect doesn't look good. Kerning for "All the best for 2008" needs a lot of work (the, and 2008). Thanks for your entry.

I like your concept; however, the focal point of the design is at the top left side of the card, where it should be at "happy Holidays". Everyone seems to have problems with "Danilo Lee" placement. I would like to see more silver incorporated.

I love the font choice for "Happy Holidays"; however, the swirl on the bottom part of the design becomes the focal point. I need more emphasis on the message itself rather than images. You have some hierarchy issues with the body text. (Should be: 1st Happy Holidays, 2nd All the best for 2008, 3rd Danilo Lee). I'm a fan of the saying "Less is more".

i lost you when you said graphically appealing. as in add more stuff? because if i add more stuff it gets messier. and isnt that what you wanted? to look like you were the designer of the piece?

Perhaps, I confused you. I'm sorry. What I meant by graphically appealing is to impress me (WOW!) more with the same elements in your design. I wanted my name to be in the message, not as the credit. Why would I pay people to design something and get credit for.

Do you want red to be dominant in your card?

Much better than your last entry. However, the focal point of the design is @ the tree's star. I would like to see more SILVER incorporated. "Best" has a different color, not sure why. Don't use snow flakes as line breaks.

Thanks for the interest. Silver and White. Less Black please. Focal point needs to be at the message.

    i got everything.
white background, then use gradient gray with black and use round eraser to make the christmas tree from a square then use some effect and that's what i got so far.

Okay, my updated version. *with web 2.0 effects, and hopefully not as boring as before ( ornaments )
    Feedback please.

Please refrain the red (pinkish) color. Your background needs more work. I need something to impress. "All the best for 2008" needs to be little bit bigger than "Danilo Lee". More of web 2.0 touch.

Getting there. I need "all the best for 2008" bigger. So is "Danilo Lee". I do not like the glare on top of the design. Icons look good, but I need it more silver (shining... but not too exaggerated). Can you do a more fancy swirl in the background? The swirl in the middle of the design doesn't look good.

This is a tough decision to make. Although some of the designs met the criteria, these didn't make my expectations. There's a couple entries that I like, but it's not silver (as requested). I don't think it's fair to award the design that doesn't meet the requirements, in the same way, give the award for the design that I don't like. I'm forced to give out the prize. Any suggestions? Extend the contest? What else?
