$50 UI design contest - 48 hours only - start now!

Hi,

I need a design for the chat window of my site chatisma.com

The UI has the following elements:

• The main window where the conversation is shown
• The send message / type your text bar
• The send button
• The leave chat button
• The user info window

(Please see the attachment for the current design and the item numbering)

You will need to

• Give it a theme
  • Skin the buttons, links, textboxes (to look more professional)
  • Create borders for the main chat window, user info window
• Move some or all of the above elements around for a nicer look:
  • Like you can put item #5 on right instead of left (example)
  • Or you can make the “leave chat” link as a button on the left

I like neat and clean designs with a white background and lot of blue and green (just a matter of preference).

All my contests have gone extremely well (see my iTrader) and I’ve been pretty impressed with so many talented people in this forum, so that’s why I decided to post it here again. I always leave feedback for every entry.

I need this UI ASAP and this contest will remain open for 48 hours only. The winner gets $50 via Paypal.

just to give you guys an idea here are some sample Chat User Interfaces. Now I don't want you to copy any of these designs but there are just to give you an idea on how people arrange the layouts and design chat windows.

I want mine to be sleek and stylish (pref over a white background)

your questions / comments are most welcome

@MohammadHaja: i like the color scheme but not sure about the header. also needs more styling.

@VarriaStudios: good design but i'm not sure how it can be used on a website. this would have been good though from the point of view of a desktop app.

@shinan (entry submitted via pm): nice stylish design. i think your UI is very professional and definitely looks like a winner to me.

I'm closing this contest early since i think i have found the winning design, but i am giving an hours notice before closing to anyone who may be working on something. if so, please let me know and i'll keep it open longer.

@sairos: i'd want to see more colors and possibly a better layout. but overall it was a good effort.
