    Hey everyone,

I've been getting about 50 unique visitors a day on my poker blog: www.pokeryak.com

I have a bidvertiser ad at the top and some poker room ads on the side. As of right now, I think I have one click on my bidvertiser ad and ZERO poker room sign ups.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to improve conversion rates.....or a new way I can make money off of this site.

    Thanks a lot

    Kevin

Hi, First you need to put some traffic analysis software on your blog. Then you can tell where your traffic is coming from. At the moment it seems like your visitors are not targeted and therefore not really interested in your content. If your traffic is targeted and you still are not getting any sales then you need to work on your conversions. things like a clear cll to action, content that puts them is a mindset to buy. Having your main message or ads in this case above the fold of the page etc

    Good luck

I don't really understand about the non-targeted traffic. If people are visiting my site, why would they not be interested in the content? I don't run any PPV traffic campaigns, so I don't know if that's the issue.

I think your problem isn't that your traffic isn't targetted, but there just isn't enough of it.
Even the best top notch wellrun sites don't reckon to get more than a 5% ctr on ads, 1% is more realistic.
Making money through clicks on ads is a numbers game.

To increase CTR,i would advise you to change your template and change the ads placement position to put the ads at more visible position coz it will increase the click rate
