$50 TRADE MARK Contest Toure' Lemar

Hello everyone,

I need a trade mark image or an icon to go with my current logo for my clothing line, Toure' Lemar. www.tourelemar.com has the logo on the splash page.

I would like it to be classy, and recognizable when viewed without the lettering. ie, every knows the man on the horse is Ralph Lauren's Polo, and the abstract tree is Timberland.

Contest will end 11:59pm, EST, March 31, 2008. $50 prize.

Winner will receive payment via paypal.

what does the name mean? sea travel?

any particular aspect of the brand you'd like to play up, or image/lifestyle you'd like to associate the brand with?

are you a luxury or an urban brand?

Hm, i cant understand well

 

Although Lemar or Lamar means of the sea, I am not using it in that sense. Its simply my name, and I am using it as name brand name. By the way, it is a registered trade mark with the United States Patent and Trade Office.

 

I would like to have a abstract symbol that will allow my brand to be identified when it is shown without the brand name. For example, the Nike Swoosh. If you see the Swoosh without the name Nike, you still kow it is Nike. Is that clear?

Mr Jinsue, I am not sure how give you feedback for this attempt. But please try again. I hope you do not take this the wrong way. May I can give a little more information. I will be marketing the line to highend fashion market. Design will need to look gook embroidered on denim, tee shirts, etc.

You have the abstract part.

But think Addidas' flower, or Ralph Lauren's man on horse, Nike's Swoosh, Akademics Jean's "a", Digital Point's dp, Nautica's sail, etc.

I did not want to be too specific because I did not want graphic designer's to hold back.

nwsn3twrkshp, I like it a lot. This is my first contest, so I am not sure if I can comment like that without declaring a winner. I will have a formal line later. I like it for a formal line. But I am designing pricey jeans, tees, jackets, tanks, hats, etc. Can you please take another shot!?
