$50 single Page site design. ( PSD only )

We are looking for a single page design for our site www.gewgley.com

Gewgley is an webmaster/internet marketing forum and we want this to be sort of like a sales page.

We would prefer a new logo to be made that can be used on the forum as well. However if you would like to use our current logo, that is fine with us. You can find a download link to the PSD of our current logo here.

The logo should be something that isn't Internet Marketing related. We like how DP's logo is a brandable shape and would like something like that. ( Brandable shape )

This is just for the design only. We will write up all the text ourselves. You can just use Dummy text to show where the text would go.

We would like around 3 boxes that are used later down in the page for reviews of the forum. So a nice little image of a person with a speech bubble coming out for the review space would work great.

We would like the colour scheme to fit that of our forum. It does not have to be the exact same colours. But we like lighter colours such as blue's.

We would like a header made at the top. Not just simple text as a header. Some sort of creative design which is eye catching. The logo will be sitting on this design.

We would like this to be very eye catching and use a web 2.0 style. By saying this we want to see a bit of gloss here and there and some nice web 2.0 colours.

We would like this to work like a sales page. Although its advertising a free forum, keep in this mind. So please follow a sales page sort of structure. This is having 2 sidebars ( which are just made of nice colour ) on the sides and the content in the middle.

Winner will have the option of coding this for around $20-$30. If they are a coder.

We want this to stand out and be unique. Please keep this in mind. We will give feedback to submitted designs.

Prize is $50 via PayPal ( only PayPal )

Contest will end in 3 days from the time of this post.

We hold the right to not pick any design if we do not like any of them. ( I doubt this will happen )

SnakeDoctor forgot to say in the post. That if we find a design that we really really like. We may offer a prize of $75 or even $100 to reward the designer for their great work.

We would also require the PSD of the design and copies of any custom fonts used.

@Logitec: We like the colours used. But feel it is a bit basic. We would also like it to suit a sales page kind of design. Where there is the content through the middle on the page and then 2 sidebars on each side which are just colour. We do like the idea of the navbar at the top though.

tdesigns: We really like the look of that. It looks great. I think that a new logo might send your chances even higher. And possibly some nice web 2.0 icons here and there. The layout and colours used look great.

tDesigns: We like the new version. Just some feedback about it.

- You have misspelt our site name. It should be "Gewgley"
- You have put Your Wat to success instead of Your Way To success.
- We don't really like the logo. Although it corresponds with the Success part. We would like something that has no relation to anything really. I nice abstract shape that is really brandable. Like how the DP logo is.
- We would like a different font used for the logo as we feel it is a bit to standard.
- Could you please add some dummy text to the sub boxes on the side.

tDesigns: Just a few more bits of feedback. Do you think you could change the colour on the side bars so that they are a bit lighter blue. Just so that it makes the text easier to read.
Could you put the original logo back in with correct spelling and with that white look. However make it a bit smaller.

These designs are more like a website, you state you want a sales page. Are these designs what you are looking for? or do you want something a little less destracting without all the links etc.

 

@jnjnnino Wow that is a really nice design. I don't see anything wrong that one apart from could you please take out the success image in the top right hand corner please. I am not to fond of that.


@bkdubs: We are looking for a sales page mostly. However I do like the idea that jnjnnino has come up with. Because of that we are leaving it up to be a bit of both. We would prefer a design like a sales page. But if it is more like a website template but looks really good. We will still include it in the contest.

jnjnnino: We really like the 2nd design you submitted in the previous post. And would like you to stick with it. There are just 2 changes we would like done. Could you please remove the .com in the logo part. And do you think you could try slotting in your custom logo on the forum screen shot in the design. Rather than our current logo. Although we would like it on the left ( Our current logo is on the right due to coding problems ). We understand if you can't do this last bit. But it would be great to see.
