I am looking to have a landing page created for a Free newsletter we are launching. It’s a very sophisticated audience and the information is top Geopolitical Analysis.
I would like the page to look professional and really help readers focus on the text and call them to take action (Sign up)

Please take a look at one example I found: http://www.taipanpublishinggroup.com/profit-with-taipan-daily.html
It’s pretty basic – but it has some good points – The top is quite interesting with the faint map underneath.
The layout is okay – but I’m hoping you guys can improve on it.
What I do definitely want is the: We value your privacy text that is at the bottom.

The text I would like to use is below. Please have 2 sign up boxes – Name and E-mail (this must be very good and professional looking and entice people to sign – Nothing tacky though)

I’m open to all ideas at this moment in time – but please keep them professional and neat – as the audience will be very unforgiving.
Add Symbols –Hilite text, Whatever you feel works.. I will add detailed feedback shortly.

Thanks for the entries so far – here is some feedback.

Cvnb – It’s neat and well structured – but it just seems a little boring (sorry) – the different parts could do with being separated as it seems like it’s just one bit of text.

Corcor – It’s an interesting idea – but the colour is very wrong for the site and Industry.

Bizzard – Good to see you again. It’s a nice neat design – but it’s just a bit stale – it doesn’t draw the reader in – there is no call to action.

Track – Excellent – This is the sort of thing I’m after – it’s engaging, Professional and neat. It also separates the various parts of the text which is essential to draw people in.
I would like to see another and more subtle sign up box down at the bottom as well.
Also the FREE is a bit overpowering – I know it makes a strong introduction – but maybe something else could do this.

Orionoreo – It’s an interesting idea – but I’m not keen on the layout – it almost seems like it’s a lot of work for the reader.

Thanks for the entries – Looking forward to seeing more designs.

Okay guys here’s some more feedback:

Leetsooc – Thanks for the entries. I’m not keen on V1 – but V2 & V3 are very good.
I like the spacing and most of the other parts. I’m not sure about the structure though.
Maybe have the Grey/Red box (The FREE daily intelligence, etc…) at the top as this really draws people in. Still they look good.

Photoshoppie – It’s a nice layout and I love the top with the world map – very neat and clean. The only problem is it just looks a bit too friendly – like we’re giving away Network Marketing tips – not Hard hitting Geopolitical Analysis.
The: We value your privacy is also spot on – just like to see a few changes.

Track – These are awesome. The top design is my favourite of them. Would it be possible to see a version with the sign up removed from the top and just put at the bpottom and in it’s place something creative? – Just an idea.
Also I think the Text underneath the top part (The FREE daily intelligence newsletter) – could do with coming down a fraction – and possibly something else to draw attention to it as it’s a bit too separated from the following paragraph.

Mukhlis92 – I REALLY LIKE what you have done with the bottom part – with the red ticks – This is SUPERB and EXACTLY what I’m after – the rest just doesn’t appeal though. The sign up box is too obvious and early. Still it’s a great effort.

Biruhato – Hello again – and another great entry – clean/fresh and professional.
It really does look good and neat - but it just seems too red to me.
Also the introduction could do with a bit more oomph.

It's too early to give the placings as no design is perfect and most of them have some excellent points.

These are really looking great guys – I’m looking forward to seeing more.
