The contest is to design a profile picture that will be put on various social media sites like twitter, google+, and facebook. We want you to create a fake person that looks real, by pulling features from other photos of people. The result will be a profile picture of a person that doesn't exist. The profile picture will not be a full body shot, but just a head shot. It should look like a photo. It can be either male or female. If there is a good male and female profile pic that we like, we will choose both of them for $50 each. The profile picture needs to be orginal. Include the photos you used to create the profile picture so that we know that the end product is not an actual person. The winner of this contest will be the person that can create the most real looking fake person. The winner will need to provide the design in psd. All questions and submissions must be submitted through the thread. I will not take any PM-ed designs or questions. The contest is for 48 hours or until a clear winner is decided on. Let me know in the thread if you have any questions. Here is an example of a profile picture made from combining features of others: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/713/photojhm.jpg/ Please design the profile picture to be more realistic than this example.
Interesting contest... you said gender doesn't really matter but what age range would you like? Also, does race matter?
My try. Aside from all the images I combined I also changed the overall shape of her face, removed earrings and changed scarf & hair color. Please let me know what you think. Thanks! Uploaded with ImageShack.us
UniVersifier, I like the image you made. The face looks very authentic. Glasses look great. They eyes are a little dark if you could lighten them I think it would make it look better.
natali77. Hey, thanks for the entry. I am not really feeling the blending of the face. Feel free to make another entry though.
Rukiara, I like the overall face shot. It is blended very nice. Can you crop the image just below her neckless so the cleavage doesn't show? I would like to take a closer look at it but the sample text overlay is kind making it hard for me to see. Is is possible to to use less of the sample text overlay?
@eruct , I really like your design because it looks like a real average person. Not to glamorous or anything, which is good. Can you play with the eyes to make them seem a little more real, and also fix the blemish on the right upper cheek?
@UniVersifier Once again, looks great. Can we give him a different shirt or shirt color? And maybe play with the background.
@Rukiara The photo is great! I feel like it is almost too model ish. Try making the eyes a little less vivid, cutting down the eye brows might also help with that. Who's body is it? Where did the neckless come from?
I dulled the hair, eyes, modified the eyebrows, darkened some shadows so it didn't seem too modelly, removed the necklace (it's from the girl on the bottom), trimmed the lashes, dulled the eyes, the body is a combo of the original and the bottom, the face is also a combo of two different faces (one where I completely took out the features and put it ontop of the base, ontop of that I put the girl on the bottom of my stock pics, then I changed the shape of that face, even, in photoshop.) Here's what it is now:
@Rukiara Thanks for the changes. I am liking it. Can you change the color of her skin to match. The neck is a lighter color than the upper chest. Can you make the color from the upper chest go all the way up the neck, or opposite. I will blame that change on my boss. He caught it.
Hello, I just wanted to inform everyone that there is still 24 hours till this contest is over. More than likely we will be choosing more than one winner. Please submit your revisions. Thank you for your excellent work!
