anidesign: That last one looks very clean, crisp and classy! Well done!

emon878: Thanks for the positive comment. This has been a great experience for me and I was glad to see so many willing participants. I had no preconceived notion of what I was really looking for in the logo/header so having designers willing to make alterations so I could get a better feel was amazing. I will definitely be running future contests here for my design needs.

    Aight: Beautiful work! Looks amazing....

I am going to take a look at all of the designs and come up with the winner in about an hour (9pm EST)

    Cheers!

First off I wanted to thank everyone for all their amazing submissions and hard work. This has been an awesome first experience for me here and as I have stated before, I am definitely going to be running contests in the near future here.

Pretty much every design was better than the two projects that I posted at Scriptlance over the past year. I would have been happy with about 80% of the submissions that were posted here.

There were 8 designs that I looked at long and hard at... Then narrowed it down to three. Here are the two that I guess are the runner's up in the contest...

Probably the best "header" design submitted...

    Aight's Design..

It was tough not picking this one :) I love the font, the colors and the design. Great work.

But the winning design for me has to be Aristoteles submission....

I love this design and as soon as I saw it, I could start visualizing what the site would look like. The colors were spot on to what I was looking for, had some excellent poker elements to it, and the font works very well with the design. Great concept... great work!

I would like to thank everyone who has participated in this contest. I was overwhelmed by the amazing designs that you all provided and entered and it was very hard selecting one for the project. I have definitely found a new "home" for all my design needs and will be running contests for any upcoming projects here before heading to the freelance boards.

    Thanks to everyone!
