Postcard Advertising Contest - $50 Paypal - Contest ends Wednesday May 11, 2011 8:00pm CST USA

This contest is to design the front of our advertising postcards. Our company is Snowie of Texas and we are looking to print up a bunch of advertising postcards to hand out and promote our Shaved Ice and Pucker Powder candy art business.

We are looking for something eye catching and appropriate for that industry (ie. Kids, festivals, parties) and quickly explains what we do or offer.

We definitely want our logo in the design (download from here - http://tinyurl.com/3cdby7b ) and possibly the logo for Pucker Powder (download from here - http://tinyurl.com/3s77evw ). No need to worry about contact info as that will be on the back and we will deal with that.

card size is 5.47"x4.21" and will be printed vertically.

idigital - very nice. Can you add Birthdays or birthday parties to it? We do quite a few of those.

 

uanl_82 - very nice, no changes

 

SNiiP3R- very nice change of pace, no changes.

natali77 - Need the words Shaved Ice and Pucker Up Candy swapped. Snowie of Texas is shaved ice and with the words Pucker Up Candy next to it, it is confusing. Also, make those words in a different color, not white.

incomebiz - the background is too busy and makes it difficult to read the card. either cut back on the background stuff or fade it.

 

idigital - much better, no changes

 

Note to everyone - while we like the balloons and such in the background, we are also interested in seeing something different in the background that is eye-catching but still represents celebrations or parties. Maybe something like New Orleans Mardi-Gras or Rio de Janeiro Carnival as some ideas.

And while I say that, we want it eye-catching but not over whelming, so it doesn't pull too much from what the cards is saying.

So even if you've posted a design already, don't hesitate to let your imagination go to work and try something different.
