Contest $50 Nonprofit Organization Needs a New Logo Design! Help Us Help You!

We are a new nonprofit academic organization that is looking to re-brand itself in a newer light. We want a new logo design that will keep that spark our new name and brand will have. The name is “Kraph” which is short and easy to make look. We are looking for a logo design that can be easily compatible with our website, business cards and maybe even letterheads. We want a Web 2.0 looking logo.

The main idea of the name is Kraph a combination of Craft (meaning skills and making something) and Graph (which is science related).

Please use the word "Kraph" and we are looking for something unique but professional.

Logo & Design Requirements
- Must have a distinct iconic design.
- Must be 100% unique and your own work.
- Must be compatible with different backgrounds etc.
- Must have great creative qualities.
- Please don't make it color scheme specific.
- Designs must all be submitted to this thread to avoid any confusion.
- The winner must provide the work in high resolution PSD’s and images to claim the prize.
- Format in AI and PSD.

Payment will be made through PayPal. The submissions must be submitted by August 23th and a winner will be picked by August 25th.

@Roro[DN] I like the lower concepts more however they dont seem as crisp as I am looking for. However the 2nd to the last one is better than the rest. I am looking for something that has some type of unique icon for the name.

@bhoduarts Hi I actually like these concepts but just not for this project specifically I will have to contact you for another project as well. But what I am looking for is something that has an iconic symbol of some kind one that can identify our Name to us.

Below is an example of another company's logo. We are looking for something like this but much more on the creative side and but something that still has that sleep professional look.

 

Also keep in mind this is an academic non profit organization therefore we must keep it "professional" is what I am hearing from the board of director's!

@johnrossgd Your logo has some interesting factors however it seems very plain to me. Maybe more colors would be better but I am not so sure about the icon as well.
@rxzor I really like both of your entries and I don't seem to be alone. On the First one would it maybe look better without the line between the icon and site name?
@Animman This is a unique design and looks sleek It will have to go into consideration as well thanks for the entry
@Roro[DN] Hi these are a bit out there and more on the creative side for sure however I don't believe they will be for this current project for the nonprofit

@Matt T We will be taking these into consideration for sure these are heavy on the creative side but even if we don't decide on them I will be contacting you in the future for more creative works.
