UPDATE

We have posted all the logos that we like in a thread on our site for our users to choose from.

Our users can "like" more than one. Our objective is to find the most "liked" logo. You can see the thread here:

(That's a temporary thread that will disappear after we get enough results to determine the winner.)

Hopefully the winner will be determined in about one day (if we get enough participation from our users, to see enough results).


The designs are from:

unique-i (6 logo designs)

So one of them will be announced as the winner shortly and payment will be made (see note below regarding ivicky, and regarding payments already issued for some designs).

Notes:
1. I put ivicky's logo there to see how people like the concept, but I never got the right size from him and though I bought the source files from him I couldn't scale it down because it wasn't all vector. So even if his design gets the most "likes" I don't think we can declare it the winner. We'll cross that bridge when or if we get to it.
2. I put back several that we had previously "eliminated" so we can let our users choose from all of them.
3. We modified one of unique-i's designs to use the same font that frikusha used in her design. So if that one happens to win, then we need to give some credit to frikusha somehow for the good choice of font.
4. We actually already bought the rights to several of the logos so that we could modify them and try them out (one of frikusha's logos, one of ivicky's logos, one of ciul3x's logos, and six of unique-i's logos). We already paid them a smaller amount since we're sure we'd like to keep their logos, and we've agreed that if their logo is the winner then we'll pay the full $50 (minus what we already paid them for the particular logo).

P.S. Please pardon the delay. The DP server failure set us back some -- it took some time to get the designs resubmitted from some of the designers, and also we did some modifications to some, and it was also some work to put them all together in a similar format for comparison. Thanks for your patience, and thanks to everyone who participated!

 

I think we got enough results now from our users.

The "most liked" logo is gibblet's.

I'm waiting for him to send me his paypal or payment info and then we'll officially announce the winner, and give some more details and officially close this.
