72 HOURS LOGO CONTEST Hello Everyone, Our Brand 'Hiro Gato Swimwear' needs a bit of an updated logo. You can find our website here: hg-swimsuit.com We sell swimsuits. So I need a new logo for it. I would like our mascot to be included in the logo and the original font should be used. You'll find both the mascot and the font in the attached ZIP file. You can download the ZIP file here hirogato.com/logocontest.rar Requriements 1. Possibly AI format or PSD with all layers is also ok 2. Any color is good, it should fit on white and black background, or you'll have to do 2 versions one for light and one for dark backgrounds 3. Use the attached font only 4. Our original brand should be recognizable. Please go to hg-swimsuit.com and see our original logo in context there 5. It should read HIRO GATO and SWIMWEAR Small changes to the font and mascot are ok or you could also add stuff around it. Contest runs for 3 days until Sunday 26th November. I reserve the right to extend the contest for up to a week if no design was selected by then. However normally you guys do a great job and it's not needed The winner gets 50$ with paypal. Cheers!
@all Thank you for entering. I see blue seems to be the color of choice for many as the original logo is blue. There is no need to make the logo blue, you can use any color you like for now. @pehulz Thank you for your entry. i like the color gradient but not really sure about the rest of the concept. Even the color gradient isn't looking very good on white background imo. Please feel free to enter with a different concept. @Blkstrdst That is pretty much the logo I am currently using You are welcome to enter with a different concept. @Athisa I really like the second concept, looks great! @Qwest Graphics Here is the feedback for your entries Feedback for #7: Nice and clean, I like it, the font is a bit boring and bold imo Feedback for #8: Problem with this design, although in general I like it, is that it doesn't fit into a quite thin header of our website Feedback for #9: Love it, one of my favorites so far. Love the clean design, expecially how you added the SWIMWEAR below. The height of the design is a bit of a problem tho, because our homepage header is quite flat so I would prefer the Mascot head be placed in line with the text. Feedback for #10 and #15: #9 was better @Athisa Still one of my favorites, I would like to see a stronger or darker color for the white background. @3SS thank you for your entry unfortunately the design is a bit too much, it already says swimwear in the title so I think we don't need too many waves @pehulz #13 isn't really what i was looking for, but #14 has some good potential I don't like the colors for a white background tho. maybe you can focus more on white background. @Blkstrdst I like what you did with the text but the waves not so much. Also I would like a flatter logo as it has to fit inside a quite narrow header. @watari I'm sorry it's not what I was looking for. However in general I like your designs and please feel free to enter with a different concept. The design should fit in a quite narrow header. @Zero Design The googles are cute but I would prefer the mascot without them.
