[$50 LOGO] Need Professional Logo Design

Hey guys,

Im hosting a $50 Logo design contest for a local furniture company.

The name of the company is Collection International Interiors

Im looking for a style which is something that is classic but also modern. I want the logo to look like its a company thats been around a while, meaning a solid not too modern logo but still classy and trust worthy.

Colors: black and white although im open to options if it fits. Meaning my logo will determine the colors of my website and I can always make it to black and white from any colors.

FONT: Thinking something in handwriting, similar to Edwardian Script but possibly with more of a paisley "gothic" look to it so it is more pronounced. I am considering having a border around the logo for it to stand out more but mainly would like the Letters C and I to be larger and pronounced for Collection International and interiors can be below.

wouldnt hurt to include some sort of icon or image related to furniture, as long as its kept professional

I like where your headed with that scorpion, I just dont feel the icon has any brandability... Try to keep it simpler and more elegant if possible.
