Hi guys! Firstly, I want to thank you all for an effort you made so far. Here are some comments: @andiholist – Too similar to our current logo, not much of a change there @katesrobyn – I am sure you can do something better. @fajarfaqih – Interesting creation! It reminds me on web games’s logos. But we need something more serious for our company. @Dreamer05 - You made a simple logo, as I requested. A bucket makes it obvious instantly what it is all about, and moving shows that it is a service what we provide. I really like how you put the beginning of the arm above letter I, very innovative! It also looks good in black and white on paper. However, I would like to change the colour to yellow shade. Also, can you make a few version of this logo and try to make it more “fancy”. Maybe also try to use different font. Best logo so far! Thanks. @natali77- not quite what we are looking for @watari – It is one of my favourites. Could you use some other font? Maybe simplify the logo. @good designer – It looks good, but still too many details. It needs to be less complexed. @arghya139 – Interesting illustration! But font is too basic, regular, nothing special. Please, don't name the files you publish after our company's name - I do not want logos to be find in google search. Remember, you still have time till monday night. Create simple, meaningful, and innovative logos. I’ll be back soon to check your creations!
Allright folks, I received a question about simplicity in logo design. What does simplicity mean? Complex logo designs: http://www.dragonflymarketing.co.za/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/illustrative-logos2.png Simple and clean logo designs: SIMPLE IS BETTER http://s3.gomedia.us/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/logodesignheader1.png Why do I want a simple logo design? A logo should not have needless elements. Highly detailed designs don’t scale well when printed or viewed in smaller sizes. A simple logo is recognised faster and is easier to remember. You can get some ideas here: https://www.google.si/search?q=simp...j0Q_AUIBigB#tbm=isch&q=excavator+logo&imgrc=_ I recommend you to emphasise a bucket, since it is the most recognisable element of an excavator. Or you can try something different. Be innovative. And please do not copy logos from google or clip art or other resources. I hope this helps. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
@andiholist I found the same logo in google search. Please do not use existing logos (as I asked before). Create your own or don't participate in this competition. Thanks, John Here is the link to your logo: https://www.google.si/search?q=simp...q=excavator+bucket+logo&imgrc=q7-9iTmxBrkoPM: https://www.google.si/search?q=simplicity+of+the+logo&biw=1536&bih=788&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjHw-3f0qDNAhUCnRoKHS9lDj0Q_AUIBigB#tbm=isch&q=excavator+logo&imgrc=76PEJwa7NiIaHM:
How about this earlier design? it's simplier? https://forums.digitalpoint.com/proxy/V/lNRoM4xGeNxYNXPIGmAtYDYeDcYrM9k08BMV2vkftkQw==/image.png
Hey, thanks for your entries. I like simple logos, but it needs to be clear (at a glance) what the service is about. Your logos don't provide that. As a matter of fact, the last triangle logo reminds me on recycling logo. Try to make them such, that you immediately know, what they represent. https://www.google.si/search?q=recycling&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiJp431oqXNAhXF0xQKHe24C5gQ_AUICCgB&biw=1536&bih=788#imgrc=pxIoboKOO0s3uM:
Hi! Thanks for your revisions. I like the black border around yellow colour you added. There are some things you could change: The last name "Vode" should be written with only first capital letter, not all. And for ".si" use lower case. The digging bucket has to have different teeth, check it here: https://www.google.si/search?q=simplicity of the logo&biw=1536&bih=788&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjHw-3f0qDNAhUCnRoKHS9lDj0Q_AUIBigB#tbm=isch&q=excavator bucket logo&imgrc=_ I prefer the excavator arm to be placed above first letter i, as it was before. Can you do some changes on the arm itself to make it look somehow better, more realistic? I am looking forward to seeing your revision!
