$50 Logo/Mascot Contest (Paypal)

I'm in need of a logo for the website www.hulueverywhere.com (no content up yet). I don't have too much of a concept in mind. So I'm leaving it up to you as to what you think would be a cool logo/mascot for a website like this. Here's what I came up with:



Which is really no where near the quality of a logo I'm looking for, thus why I'm creating a contest

Looks really good. I really like the colours you chose for "hulu". Maybe a blue for the "everywhere"? I'm not really sure, but there's something there that's not fitting right. Overall, really good though!

I'm not the biggest fan of the fonts you have chosen, and the overall look of the logo isn't really what I'm looking for. Thanks for trying though!

I really like it, but it's a little too simple for what I'm trying to pull off with this site. So far I'm really liking what people have done with the web 2.0 glossy stuff, so try sticking to that perhaps. Thanks!

Feedback for Lipgut:

I couldn't help but laugh when I first saw this. It's great! A couple things though: I find that the white stroke around the text is a little too thick, so maybe try thinning it. Also the colours of the planet dude seem a little darker and less glossy than the text, making it look like it doesn't really all fit together. Loving it though!

@ OP Your first try was pretty good (coming from a designer) it is simple, but very effective. No offence intended to the competition entries, but I think yours is the most professional.
