Hi everyone, I am looking to have a logo done for an Intranet site I am putting together for work. Title: Bruce County Intranet Tagline: (you don't have to include this) Serving Bruce County Staff Colors: Up to you but it will go on a white background. Type: Would prefer graphic next to text rather than just some fancy looking font. Style/Emotion: Strong, professional, bold, fast, energetic, new But Not Web 2.0 Some logos I like but not be exactly what I am looking for (just to give a sense of my personal style): http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/75202 http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/75211 http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/75289 I will leave feedback for every entry. Thanks, David
sukosaki - Not really feeling the laptop nor the typography used for the text. Not too sure about the swish either. I like the literal thinking though for the project. willhaynes - Looking good. Can I see the logo to the left of the text, with some variety in the color or typography or size of the text? Thanks guys for starting this up
huzi - That makes me think NUCLEAR WINTER more than Bruce County Intranet. Not really sure I like having the BC and I stand out either. For those having trouble coming up with the logo, Bruce County is in Ontario, Canada. It is an area devoted to nature, tourism, small town living. You can also do logos that look high tech and interconnected. Devan_007 - I like the two triangles, interconnected, not a fan of the colors and not a fan of the typography used for the text. gipanuhotko - This is really interesting to me. Looks like many computers focused around a star. I like the logo, but I am not feeling the typography. Having it be three colours is kind of cool, but the blues don't match up, and the font isn't what I am looking for. wass28 - The logo is a bit simplistic, maybe too much so. I get the same feeling from the main font used for the Bruce County Intranet text. CandeGM - Same Nuclear issue as huzi. I get the symbolism with a network, but with a Nuclear power plant only an hour away, I don't want people to get confused. The bold text looks fairly nice, though with the C being so wide, it takes all of the focus. Also it is a bit basic. Try using a different font for either Bruce County or Intranet, and try using a different colour for one of the words as well. shinji - Not sure where you were trying to go with this. The light beams, the satin effects on the text. It doesn't really flow or symbolize anything effectively. I appreciate the effort, but I don't think this is very "logo" like. daput73 - The concept is fairly good. The O in County (not Country by the way) is too large. Don't like the font used really (looks like one of the default ones I could find in any copy of photoshop.) Can you put the logo to the left of the text? It looks interesting for sure... not sure if it is something that would 100% work for an internal identity though. zyndtel - Simplistic but bold. Diamond shame works better than the flat square for me. The grey used in Bruce doesn't really fit for me. Also, in terms of importance, I'd say Bruce is important, but County is the first word I notice. hemp - Way too generic, basic, and amateur man. Looks like you just applied some photoshop pre-made styles to a star image, and some basic text. Sorry man, but this isn't what I am looking for. I need someone with strong Typography skills.
Excuse me can I ask, are you what are you going to use the logo for? Website, Print, Business card etc..? Also do you accept .psd files?
tajio - Website only. sarsh11 - Is that supposed to be luggage or something? Looks interesting, Not a fan of the fonts you used in the text, though the colours and style look cool.
