$50 Logo Desing Contest

I am posting this for a friend of mine " comfyzone " as he's new and and cant start a thread.
He needs a logo design for his furniture store " comfyzone.com "
I have asked him to observe this thread and update the designers with whatever he wants adjusting.

Majority of his sales are carpet related so he was thinking of maybe having the word " comfy " as being "C" then the "O" in the form of a carpet roll with a section rolled out etc and the rest of the words lying on top of the carpet roll. And obviously the comfy section to show comfort and the zone bit as like a round sign like the ones you get in " no smoking zones " but obviously not to give a restrictive impression etc

BUT

he's open to all sorts of imaginitive designs so hit us with what u have.

Right, what i need is a logo which Represents comfiness, as the name indicates.. COMFY ZONE,....... you see where i'm coming from?

our main colours are BLUE & ORANGE, but i'm open to any suggestions, after all you lot are pro's.

We sell all sorts of furnishings...

i.e... CARPETS, ALL KIND OF BEDS, MATTRESSES, WARDROBES, DINING SETS, SOFAS (ALL SORT OF SOFAS) i'm letting you know this so you can design something with open mind.

suggestion.. I think with the look of your website... you need header+LOGO.. what do you think...

 

Thanks for suggestion, that website is not my main website, my main website is in pipeline, actually i have a contest runing for that here too.

in regards to picture size i need it on high resolutions, as because it will be used on all of our literature etc, vehicle sign writing, sign on the shop building etc... Jpeg is fine.

 

please have a look at this logo that i have attached, can you see how the wor DUNELM is relaxing, it's chilled out, i think this is more like comfy...

hey craze you just copied my design (post #4) the icon between C & M.... ouch...

 

Oh dang, well, it seems to me the carpet roll is the only one which is the same.

 

yes mate.. I said "the icon between C & M...." the carpet roll in particular.

 

Then, I haven't exactly copied your design then. Just look at it, it's a lot different.
