Contest $50 Logo Design Contest

OK guys I will give a detailed feedback per design tomorrow since it's Sunday night here in my time right now.

Just a reminder: I'm fine without the tent in the logo. If you feel that it should just be text logo, then so be it. I just need the logo to be good.

Hi there,

It's been a long time since I posted something here on DP.
But anyways, here is my entry:







100% Vector.

 

ancitis: I like it although you got the wrong color though so please go back to my instructions to see the correct colors. It also looks like a parachute and not like a tent. I don't mind if the logo has no tent image in it, as long as it represents what we're trying to do.

mudeyemoody: the first set of logos is better then your 2nd set but they look corporate and that's what we're trying to avoid. To me, it looks like an accounting firm's logo. Maybe you need to change the font face so it looks web 2.0?

AMFgraphics: thanks but I think we won't be able to separate the word and the logo. Font is also too thin.

@BlastDamage: The dollar sign is the wrong imagery since we want to expand later to other countries.

@misterbaz: too much focus on the images and not really the name

@musashi9: too outdoorsy -- literally

@DrAMA9URL: I specified in my instructions that I don't like the circus tent. Besides, it doesn't look like a logo. Note that our color is specified in the two websites that I provided.

@misterbadz: Don't think I'd like to use a diamond as a logo. It doesn't really say anything about Deals Tent

@Futtbucker: Your logos look good visually but if we use the image separately, it doesn't convey much.

TO ALL:

I guess what we're looking for is a logo that allows us to separate the logo from the image, like the logo of Nike where you can either use the "check" and people understand it right away. You don't have to use the name all the time.
