$50 Logo Design Contest for a Swimming Pool Cleaning Company

Hi everyone,

I am looking to have a logo designed for a new web project I am kicking off. The website is Orlando Pool Techs . com.

Logo Design Details:
1. The logo should have both an image and the website name (don't need to include .com in the logo).
2. The logo should be wide not tall. With icon/image on left and with text on right.
3. The logo should look good on a WHITE/BLUE background.
4. The logo should be themed to represent a swimming pool business.
5. The logo should be slick and web 2.0 looking.

I've conducted multiple logo design contests here on DP. I always select and pay a winner. I always stay on top of the contest and provide timely feedback.

The contest will be live for 3 days (ends on Tuesday night). After 3 days I will select a winner and send payment via Paypal. Please do not wait until the last minute. I will not accept late entries. You are also welcome to submit multiple entries if you want.

If I spot a logo design that I really like I MAY end the contest early. So please don't wait to submit your entries.

Hi everyone,

Thanks you to all who have entered up to this point. Got some solid entries so far.

Here is my feedback to all the current entries:

matt0216 - Thanks for entering the contest. The logo is not clean and professional enough. We are looking for a little more refined of a logo. Thanks for taking a shot.

sath_07 - I really like the design its a solid entry. No feedback at this time. It's in the top 3 right now.

Zee Design (first entry) - Thank you very much for your entry. I don't like the use of the umbrella. It doesn't really reflect a pool business. You are more than welcome to take another shot at it. The second one at the bottom is a little to plain.

alincatalin - I like the logo design. Its simple and looks great. I like the O at the bottom of the pool too Is there any way you can make the pool stand out a little more against the white background?

Zee Design (second entry) - Thanks again for trying. I am not liking the shark in the logo either. I appreciate the effort though.

gamelord - I like the idea of doing something with the O. I'm not exactly diggin the wave's in the O though. can you try something else in the O?

skylexa - Thanks for the entry, I like how you played with the orlando text, both look cool. but I don't like whats inside the O. looks off. Can you try anyother couple options with putting something in the O?

HeRBaR - Thanks for joining the contest. I like the idea of doing something with the O, but it looks a little like one of those front loading washing machines during the wash cycle. Can you make it a little more reminicent of a pool or more pool related? I didnt like the middle one very much, if I just saw the icon from the middle one it would not make me think of a pool. Looking forward to your next entries.

I'm getting really pumped with regards to this contest. I'm seeing some super solid entries. It's going to be very hard to pick a winner here. You are all making it very difficult (which I appreciate). Lots of good competition going on here. Keep up the good work.

Here is my feedback on the next round of entries:

skylexa - I appreciate you taking the time to submit another entry, but the O graphic is still not looking right to me. reminds me of like the center of the earth or something.

GraigB - Great submission. I like the design a lot. Is there any way to simplify the icon a little more. It looks cool, but its a little busy. If you can simplify it some that would be great and easier to put on a shirt. Great work!

HeRBaR - thanks for submitting another entry. I do like the idea of using a pool as the icon, but this logo is a little to simple and plain. Can you spice it up a little more. Make it look cooler without making it to busy/complicated.

Fraz! - (first set- post #17) Great Entry. Like what you did with the O. very cool. I think this is a solid entry. The two below it are not as good and not in the direction I would go. I do like the text on the bottom right though. Can you try the top logo but put the "rlando" text with the more cursive font?

Dante777 - Thanks for joining the contest. I this you submitted a great design, but its a little to wavy for me. Reminds me more of the ocean than a pool. Any chance you can give it another shot?

Fraz! - (second set - post #19) - The top single one and the bottom single one are not really what I'm looking for. But I do like the lower right one in the middle set of four. The font is GREAT I would just like to see a couple more different icons to the left of the text. The text looks great. perfect fit with Orlando.
