I apologize. Deadline is February 21st. That means the ladder should resemble high quality wood and not a cartoon type wood. Does that make sense? It needs to look professional and resemble real life.

Business Cards will have Cleveland skyline below the logo This is a recipe for a disaster, no offense.
There is some truth to that I believe (although the effort put into such a detailed briefing is a very nice surprise, hopefully some contest holders in the future will take this into consideration). Dear contest holder, I think you might be much better off with something that´s more reduced than what you have in mind right now. (The visible wood grain won´t be a good idea, because it simply won´t work, e.g. when displayed as a small sized version at the top of a website). Another suggestion: limit the number of colors, and make sure it will work in black and white as well. IMHO the glossy shine doesn´t mix too well with the seriousness of the religious theme. Good luck nevertheless.
I understand the comments made and I dont expect everything to be exactly as the instructions follow. We are just looking for a good logo design that meets as much of the criteria as possible. Contest closes in 25 hours.
