$50 Logo Design Content for Performance Parts Website

We are looking to have a logo designed for a new project. The store name is Intense Performance. The URL is intensepro.com. It will be an e-commerce site that will sell performance parts.

Please ignore everything on that is on the current site. This is an old and crappy design, not created by me and will not be used.

Logo Design Contest Details:
1. The logo should have both an icon and the store name.
2. The logo should be and iconic logo that is wide not tall.
3. The icon should be in the center with "Intense" on the left and "Performance" on the right.
4. The icon in the middle should either be a shield or a crest ONLY.
5. The shield/crest design should incorporate the letters I and P. I would also like to see "Intense" across the top of the shield/crest.
6. We are pretty flexible on the colors but we like black and blue. Here is a blue we like: #3399cc. Using this color is not a requirement, we just wanted to provide a color sample that we like.
7. The logo should look good on a white/black/grey background.
8. We would also like to see the URL (intensepro.com) incorporated into the logo, but this is not a requirement.
9. The logo should be slick and web 2.0 looking and it should look FAST.

Here is an example of a similar logo that we like that incorporates a shield.

Please note that the logo at the above link is tall (which we don't like), and it doesn't have text on each side of the shield. But we do like how they have the name across the top of the shield and the way the shield looks. Please don't copy the design. We want to look unique.

I've conducted multiple logo design contests here on DP. I always select and pay a winner. I always stay on top of the contest and provide timely feedback.

The contest will be live for seven (7) days (ends on Friday evening 2/20). At that time I will select a winner and send payment via Paypal. Please do not wait until the last minute. I will not accept late entries. You are also welcome to submit multiple entries if you want.

If I spot a logo design that I really like I MAY end the contest early. So please don't wait to submit your entries.

Hi All! Thanks to everyone that has submitted a design so far. I greatly appreciate you time and effort.

Here is my feedback on the current entries:

Creations4You - The text you used was pretty cool but the shield does not look good. We want it to look more similar to the Porsche emblem shield, but unique. It looks more like a highway sign and it needs to look much cooler.

Anasone - Thanks for entering. I like the colors and font, but it looks a little cartoonish. We want it to look really professional. Also, we don't like the way the font is angled. I do like how you put the URL text small and under performance, that looks good. We would like the shield to look similar to the Porsche emblem, but unique.

Zyndtel - I like the font and coloring. I also like how it looks good on white, black and grey backgrounds. Also, the sheild is going in the right direction, but we want the shield to look a little cooler. Instead of looking like a Knights shield, we want it to like like the Porchse Emblem, but unique. Also, I don't like the URL text going over the sheild. I like how Anasone put the text smaller and under the text Performance.

Renderwork - The sheild coloring is nice, but we want it to look more like the Porcshe sheild/crest, but unique. We don't like the Flaps/Blocks coming off the side of the sheild. We also don't like the font or the font coloring.

Jokomamamita - Thanks for entering. The logo you designed in not what we are looking for. The colors and feel are more in line with the armed forces. We would like blues and blacks and a high class, high performance and professional look to the logo. Can you please try again?

We just uploaded some other shield logos that we like as samples. The Ravens one and the Porsche one are close to what we are looking for.

renderwork - I like the direction you are going. The shield is looking a lot closer to what we are looking for. However, it definiely looks very close to the Porsche logo right now. Can you please try to change it up some. I again like how it looks good on white/black/grey. Instead of providing it on three different color backgrounds can you just provide it on a black background and try three different fonts? We want to see a couple different font options.

dryada - I'm sorry but your design is not what we are looking for. It's a tall logo instead of wide. It also does not fit the look we are going for. You are welcome to submit another entry.

OnlyFights - Thanks for entering. The fonts you used are pretty cool, but we don't like the shield design. We don't want wings on the shield and it looks a little to bubbly.

zyndtel - Nice work on the revision. The shield is looking better. Can you please reduce the size of the shield. It's too big. We like the look on the black background. Can you make the shield smaller and then try a few different fonts for the "Intense" and "Performance" text?
