Looking for a logo for an online scrapbooking business. The company name is WordScrap. I have attached a really crude drawing of how they described their idea for the logo, the bottom box is a flower...supposedly a gerbera.. $50 is the prize, I can go a bit higher if its something special. The pallete should be pinks/purples/blues... girly I guess.. the target is female. Don't be afraid of patterns. Please excuse the drawing...mspaint was all I had
Sorry guys, busy day Just to give a little more detail, the design I sketched I think is suppose to represent a scrapbooking layout, I presume this is where they got the inspiration for it from. Cykil, I like it but I think its overly flowery, more like something you would use for a florist logo, but I will see what they think. XFactorLogo , I think yours is inline with what they are looking for but maybe a little too "fisher price" if you know what I mean, Possibly needs a less glossy palette and swap the hand for a flower
Lol "fisher price". It's just web 2.0 It's fine, I'll see what changes I can make today. Thanks for the feedback again
Got some really good feedback, alexender82, I really like yours and so did they. What we would like to see is; alexender82 - loose the tape on the W and S (keep the ones on the picture), loose the burst background, in the top left hand corner (where the tape was) add some little diamonds round the top and left edge of the box creating a sort of half frame.. I hope that makes sense XFactorLogo - They also liked you logo and requested the following; Loose the circles, change the script (can't tell its an "S"), different flower (gerbera, see below), loose the wordscript in script and the TM, the "Wordscript" in font put where the script is and make bigger, change the blue and green for pink or purple. Sorry for so many changes I think they are both great, I think we will have to have a second place prize.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this but the designers here all like to present their logos in a competitive manner, so we add elements that are pleasing to the eye. (In my case, the circles. They're only there to emphasize the logo, and I'm sure it's the same with alexander.) Just a heads up for you next time you run your contest lol. That being said, here are the requested changes. As always, feedback is appreciated.
